Hitting the Mark

\n\"\"I imagine you\u2019ve been receiving some Lag b\u2019Omer emails \u2013 featuring bonfires. I know that I have. Those burning images make me think of two things:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. S\u2019mores and 2\u2026 well fires.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, much as I would like to indulge, s\u2019mores won\u2019t help me shed the post-Pesach pounds. Nor could they be said to be integral to a heart healthy diet. Lighting a fire, on the other hand, can be helpful. Well\u2026 in a metaphoric, not arsonistic, manner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Is it time for you to light a fire under your marketing materials?<\/strong> <\/span>If they are working, perhaps not. Complacency, when you have a winning formula, may be just fine. After all, as they saying goes, if it isn\u2019t broken, don\u2019t fix it. Yet, when it comes to recruitment, retention, and turning parents into goodwill ambassadors, communication is key. Tweaking, not total \u201cfixing\u201d may be in order.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"The summer months ahead present an opportunity to determine if your messages are meaningful,\u00a0compelling, and on-target.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Look at all your print and on-line materials. Are they consistent in terms of color schemes, font, and diction?
\n<\/span>
\nIs it time to:
\n\"\"<\/strong><\/span>Congratulate yourself on a job-well done?
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Light a fire under some of your messages?<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Realize that your messaging needs an overhaul \u2013 and toss most of your stale material into the \u201cfire?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
